Description

You probably won’t see another one like it! This Model A Pickup is exactly what guys used to build in the 50’s and 60’s. Painted in a Matte Blue finish with all of its bumps and bruises still there, Big Ford headlights, a wood bed with relocated Barrel style fuel tank under it, battery access panel and a little added clearance for the rear differential. The 15 inch skinny steel wheels are painted a cream color with Chrome center caps and a wood framed ratty canvas soft top to let the light in. The exposed powerplant is a 401 Buick Nailhead V8 with an Offenhauser aluminum dual quad intake with a couple of Carter AFB 4 barrels on top, Chrome dome air cleaners, Finned aluminum Offenhauser valve covers, aluminum radiator with overflow catch can, electric fan, Lake style headers with block off plates and a set of Smithy tube mufflers with turn downs. The Turbo 400 transmission shifts properly and is followed by a 57 Chevy rear differential with some freeway friendly gears. The interior is finished in White vinyl with Blue piping, Custom 1958 Rambler dash board, Early Ford style steering wheel, Moon Eyes tachometer, Lokar Floor shifter, glovebox mounted AM/FM CD stereo with Aux and USB, pop out tilt windshield, electric wiper and dual hinge mounted mirrors. The suspension consist of 36 Ford Rear radius rods, custom fabbed frame with 10 inch kickup, a dropped A front axle with split A radius rods and some front disc brakes to stop this crazy contraption. This car was built to drive and turns a lot of heads but if you are over 5 foot 8 inches you won’t fit, no legroom in this one!
