Three times Tulip Rally and even the world famous Carrera Panamericana warmly welcomed this Ford Mustang Fastback. 'De Tulp' was always successfully completed, for the Panamericana Rally the coveted starting ticket was obtained (and paid for), however, due to private circumstances of the owner, the car did not start. For this registration, the car has to pass a strict technical rally inspection, given the technical high level of the car, this did not pose any problem. Not the least companies built (in 2017 and '18) this Fastback into the fast and reliable rally car that is now available. A completely new car was built based on an original rust and damage-free 1965 Fastback. Equipped with a 320hp 4.9ltr Ford V8 (dyno test available), a heavy duty reconditioned gearbox with a first gear that can handle 6000rpm, a completely new chassis with adjustable shock absorbers, FIA approved cage and seats, 100ltr race tank, digital trip computer and lots of must-haves to seriously compete in high-level rallies. The complete configuration as offered here has cost more than 100k. Perhaps more importantly at the moment, who will and can carry out such a project? Nowadays time and expertise are rare, with the result that bringing such a car up to standard always costs considerably more than buying roadworthy. And one thing is for sure ... we will be driving again! This year perhaps at a modest local level, next year all those great events are coming up and we and our cars want to be let out again. With this Ford Mustang Fastback in complete rally setup you are serious about participating. Everything has been thought of, even if you would like to participate in historic races with the car, the car can be made suitable with a few modest adjustments. The car comes with a file with invoices for construction, overhaul of engine and gearbox, bodywork and much more. Registration certificate and inspection of the Rally Panamericana also present. See the photos for the many details, roll cage, intercom, tools, adjustable electric power steering, Hurst shortshifter, FIA approved seats and seat belts, etc. it's all there. The car also has a Dutch registration. An extensive photo report of the structure is available. Enjoy the anticipation, start this year and if you are quick, Central America beckons next year too. And then again, once the prices are in, the price for the car is still there. There is no better way.
