It has subsequently been restored, including repainting and an engine and transmission rebuild. Many parts were renewed, but the interior was kept as original as possible. As a result, the car is in very good condition, as evidenced by the valuation report from 2022. The car has many (maintenance) invoices. The car has been restored on Dutch registration since 2021. EXTERIORIn words is almost impossible to express how cool this Mustang is! The 1966 Fastback is probably the most beautiful Mustang ever built, moreover, this example is also perfectly executed in 'Gunmetal Grey' metallic paintwork with black racing stripes. The paintwork is in excellent condition with no damage. Rims make the car, and so stunning 15" 'American Racing' rims have been fitted. Obviously in excellent condition, and fitted with good BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires. The chrome work and lighting on the car are also very cool and fresh. INTERIORThe interior is (mostly) original and is in good condition. The upholstery is done in black faux-leather. The drivers overlooks the distinctive wood/aluminum steering wheel and deep pointer counters. There is also a rally pack gauge cluster set installed with a tachometer and clock. A modern 'Retrosound' radio with classic looks is fitted, equipped with a USB connection, bluetooth and two additional speakers in the bulkhead panels. The interior is an ideal combination of comfort, originality and classic looks. Moreover, the Mustang is a 2+2, allowing 4 people to enjoy the driving experience of the Mustang. TECHNICALIn part because the engine and transmission have been overhauled, this Mustang drives great. The '289' 4.7-liter V8 engine produces 225 horsepower and runs and sounds fantastic. The engine is fitted with an Edelbrock 4 Barrel drop-flow carburetor. The exhaust system was replaced with a high-quality system with chrome ends. The 4-speed manual transmission shifts smoothly and properly. The front brake booster and brake discs have been renewed.
