This Mustang is accompanied by extensive documentation detailing a substantial restoration. Key mechanical work included removal and reinstallation of the engine and transmission, clutch and flywheel work, engine mounts, suspension and steering work, brake-system restoration, and extensive rear axle and differential service. The cooling and fuel systems also received attention, including the radiator, thermostat, heater hoses, fuel tank, fuel lines, fuel pump, and sending unit.
A major portion of the restoration involved replacement of the trunk floor, including removal of deteriorated material followed by fitting, welding, sealing, and refinishing the replacement floor. The engine compartment was also stripped, prepared, and refinished. Electrical work included attention to the engine-bay wiring, connections, wire loom, gauges, ignition, lighting, and stereo wiring.
Body and interior work included extensive preparation and refinishing, repairs to multiple body areas, dash restoration, carpet installation, and rear-seat reupholstery. The White vinyl interior retains the Mustang's classic character with an AM/FM radio and seatbelts, while classic hubcaps and bias-ply tires complete the period-inspired appearance.
