Finished in red over black, the car is powered by a 428ci Cobra Jet V8 paired with a three-speed C6 automatic transmission. The R-code 428ci V8 was rated to make 335 horsepower and 440 lb-ft of torque when new. Equipment includes a Traction-Lok rear end, a shaker hood, AutoMeter auxiliary gauges, and a Philco push-button AM radio. Features include a shaker hood, chrome bumpers, quarter-panel scoops, quad exhaust outlets, and bright-finished trim on the wheel arches, front grille, and window surrounds. The woodgrain steering wheel fronts instrumentation that includes a 120-mph speedometer, an optional tachometer, and auxiliary gauges measuring coolant temperature, voltage, and fuel level.
