We offer for sale this special Hagglund BV206 from 1998. This amphibious vehicle comes from a private collection of an army vehicle enthusiast. The previous owner restored the vehicle in the period 2020-2022. The Hagglund BV206 was originally developed for the Swedish army, but was soon used by all kinds of armed forces worldwide. The vehicle consists of two units, with all four tracks powered simultaneously, providing excellent traction. The vehicle can accommodate up to 17 people and the trailer can be adapted for different applications. It is powered by a 2800cc V6 Ford engine and has an automatic gearbox.
Due to the low ground pressure, the Hagglund BV206 can handle practically any terrain, from snow to mud and loose sand or even through water. It is also recognized as a vehicle that does not destroy the terrain because it uses an articulated steering system instead of a braking and slewing system like a tank. This is a fully amphibious vehicle that can reach a speed of up to 4.7 km/h in water and 55 km/h on the road.
