Iconic 1969 Honda S800M Coupé in very good condition.
The original “Adria Blue” color with black interior and the special 13-inch «COSMIC» wheels give it a look that is both elegant and sporty.
Vehicle with certificate of historical interest issued by the ACP.
Introduced at the 1965 Tokyo Motor Show, the sporty S800 replaced the successful Honda S600.
The 791cc in-line 4-cylinder engine fed by 4 Keihin carburettors delivered 71 horsepower at 8,000 rpm.
With redline starting at 8,500 rpm, the S800 is one of the fastest revving sports cars in series production.
The S800 competed in the market with the Austin-Healey Sprite, MG Midget, Triumph Spitfire, Datsun Fairlady and Fiat 850 Spider.
The S800M, or Mk.2, appeared in February 1968 and introduced improvements such as a dual-circuit braking system, laminated windshield, among others.
The Honda S800 was Honda's last «S» model until the launch of the S2000 in 1999.
