This incredible Jaguar E-Type has now been fully rebuilt from the original tub to the latest M&C Wilkinson Ultimate lightweight E-Type specification from 2018-2020.
The body tub has been completely refreshed to the latest Sayer specification with aluminium bonnet, doors, and boot lid; and finished with the latest specification of FIA approved custom cage, Tillet seat, lightweight fire extinguisher and Sayer FIA approved fuel safety cell. The engine is the latest specification Crosthwaite and Gardiner wide angle head engine, with Sayer specification FIA gearbox and differential, then finished with our latest specification suspension.
Upon completion of the build, the car has been campaigned on two occasions and won both races; the first being the Equipe GTS race at Donington, and then the second being the HSCC Dunlop â Jaguar Historic Trophy race at the Oulton Park Gold Cup. Competing against a strong field of Jaguars, including Jon Minshaw in his E-Type, and after an hour-long head-to-head race; the car was first to the chequered flag to take victory in this sole Jaguar race of the year.
This trophy winning car is currently entered and planned to compete in the upcoming Motor Racing Legends sixtieth anniversary races and events this year at the Donington Historic Festival and then the Silverstone Classic.
