A very expressive classic, the Jaguar E-type. Elegant, sporty and with a lot of class. In general, it can be said that the first series of the sports car introduced in 1961 can be described as the most beloved. It is the version how Malcolm Sayer originally intended it, with the small taillights placed above the bumper. This is a restored first series E-type that was first admitted to public roads on February 28, 1964. That is, under the hood lies a very powerful 3.8-liter six-cylinder with three SU carburetors. Good for 265 hp and a top speed of a whopping 241 km/h. Yet it is primarily the smooth and impressive way in which the ear-pleasing six-cylinder does its work that stands out. The considerable power is delivered to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transmission, delicious! If you open the huge hood forward, you have a view of a fantastic engine block. The polished valve cover on the engine block finished in gold color, the incredibly beautiful carburetors: a magnificent power source. The E-type has been beautifully restored, to excellent quality and in a beloved color combination. The sheet metal is in excellent condition. The fits are as they should be and the sheet metal is nice and thin throughout. The car sits on beautiful chrome wire wheels that have good tires in the correct sizes. The chrome on the bumpers, lights, trim, door handles, everything is as you would expect on a car of this caliber. The car has obviously been completely repainted, so the dark red metallic paint looks great. Driving this Jag is fantastic. Braking for that matter just as well, the same goes for shifting. Although we advise you to keep this car in this beautiful condition, there is één thing that we nóg want to put on your heart: driving is the most fun with this car! How incredibly well such an E-type with a healthy suspension steers! The interior is finished in a beautiful natural tone and upholstered with beautiful leathers and materials. The upholstery is very stylishly chosen, leaving the leather in beautiful condition. The rest of the interior, from floor coverings to dashboard, gauges and controls is also very nice to see. A stunning E-type thus, which comes with documentation in the form of a thick binder of maintenance bills, photos of the restoration and various documentation. In short, a beautiful fully restored Jaguar E-Type Series 1 3.8 Coupé that is ready for many years of unlimited E-type driving pleasure.
