1965 JAGUAR E-TYPE SERIES 1 4.2 FHC (Original UK RHD example)...British Racing Green with Black leather, Chassis IE20142 left the Brown Lane Works on the 2nd January 1965 and was supplied by S.H Newsomes of Coventry to its 1st owner Mr F.A Greenwell of Sunderland on the 14th of January and issued with the Sunderland registration number BBR 56C which it still bears today, A complete restoration was completed in 2004 when the E-Type was showing just 60,800 miles which was is believed to be the genuine, the 4.2 coupe was totally stripped down and all original panels, including bonnet section, were retained, All trim and the headlining were replaced, New Connolly hide used for the seats and the original Radiomobile radio was kept. All electrical equipment reconditioned, The 6-cylinder XK engine has been rebuilt and rebored with new pistons, bearings and timing chain, with crankshaft still standard, carburettors reconditioned and new exhaust in stainless steel fitted.
