Description

This E Type Series 2 2 + 2 Coupe is not only beautiful in color and lines, but also practical because of ample entry and interior space. This also makes it suitable for taller people, people with limited mobility and / or who can make good use of extra (luggage) space.

Today this car is over 50 years old, well maintained and in good condition with matching numbers. We are therefore proud to offer this sporty car with the typical E Type lines and practical space for sale on behalf of the current owner.

This Jaguar E-Type has a Heritage Trust certificate which shows that this car was produced on October 4, 1968 and delivered in America a month later.

This E-Type originally had a beige color which Jaguar gave the name Ascot Fawn. At some point the car was painted in a metallic gold color (called golden sand) which makes the car stand out particularly well in combination with the chrome parts, the chrome wire rims with white wall tires and the original beige leather interior trim. It is therefore this color, this version and the condition of this E-type that the current owner was charmed by this car at the time.

For the market in America, this car was bound by certain emission regulations. As a result, the car was somewhat “pinched”. After the car was imported by a well-known Dutch classic dealer and delivered to the current owner, the engine part was made to European specifications. This means, among other things, that the car is currently not equipped with 2 but now with 3 carburettors, the manifold has been replaced and the car is equipped with a stainless steel exhaust, a new rod system, etc. The car has also been slightly lowered for better handling and appearance. .

The current owner has owned the car for almost 14 years and recently decided to sell this car through XJCS Automotive. This is the perfect opportunity for you to own this valued classic with which you can cover many carefree miles.
