Description

We are not ready to sell this beautiful Jaguar until we get the air conditioning working (waiting for some parts) Top boot.

1970 Jaguar XKE Roadster.
DGC3031.
VIN# P1R13031.

This is a gorgeous car! There are 7 layers of burgundy paint on the body and it looks amazing. The engine runs and sounds awesome. I have only driven this car a short distance, but I was really impressed with how it performed. The chrome, trim, interior, exterior, engine compartment, trunk, and underside are all beautiful on this car. There isn't much that I can point out because it is in great condition. The convertible top does have two small tears, but they are pretty minor. The knock off wire wheels help set off the look of this car. This is a factory air conditioned car and we are in the process of replacing a valve and charging the system. So the air should be working soon. ( I have looked at many 1970 jaguars for sale, and only found one with power steering and no factory air. ) Another great feature is that it has power steering. How often will you see an XKE Jag, with air conditioning and power steering? The previous owner had this car in his possession for about 13 years. He is the one that did the partial restoration with the paint and chrome, along with new seat covers and foam padding. We believe the passenger side floor pan was replaced prior to the last owner. He also did some extensive front end work, replaced the brakes, recored the radiator and also replaced the tires about 2,000 miles ago. He gave us a stack of receipts that go along with the car. I can't believe how nice this Jaguar is compared to others I've seen. What a stunner! Cond 2 +
