Description

Auto Storica is pleased to announce this Jaguar MKII

Sports sedans have managed to establish themselves in the market thanks to their perfect combination of top-level comfort with true supercar performance. BMW M5, Mercedes E AMG, Maserati Quattroporte, ... are just some of the best-known examples of supercharged sedans. But they were not the first.

The Jaguar MKII is considered the pioneer of the segment. Thanks to its powerful engine - the same as the XK -, its precise steering, its deformable parallel front suspension and its excellent weight distribution, it became the ideal car for lovers of sportiness.

But if its original performance is not enough, at AutoStorica we have completely modified this unit to raise driving pleasure to a new level.

Its engine has been replaced by a larger displacement Jaguar engine, specifically a 4.2 from the XJ, to which Twin SU carburettors, Big Bore stainless steel exhaust manifolds and exhaust line have been fitted, and a new Getrag 5-speed manual gearbox, to enjoy a power much higher than the 220 hp it produced from the factory. In addition, to ensure proper cooling, an electric fan and a high-flow pump have been installed.

All this power is transmitted to the asphalt more safely thanks to the replacement of the rear suspension with Spax shock absorbers, which we also find on the front axle, as well as 16-inch CenterLacex wheels, which hide RaceCraft disc brakes inside.

Its bodywork now looks slimmer thanks to the Coombs rear wing kit, specific Lucas Fogranger fog lights, and the addition of an electric sunroof that provides the interior with greater luminosity.

The interior has been modernised thanks to a new set of dashboard and mouldings made of burl wood, and reupholstery of the seats in Autolux leather in a “Jaguar Old Red” finish, matching the seat belts. In addition, for greater comfort, we have added power steering, air conditioning, a classic-style Becker Mexico radio with Bluetooth and hands-free connection, and a remote control lock and alarm.

Do you feel like driving it every day? It's normal. Be sure to come and see this updated feline.
