This MK 9 has been well treated by the previous owner, but is not finished. The engine has been overhauled, the head needs to be put together, so everything is easy to check. Brakes are all new and fitted, interior is original with patina. Chrome work is nice but has pitting corrosion, so it should be chromed for the best result.
The paint of the car is new, original colour. Has not been sprayed super nice, depending on your preference, this car might come out better with a gunmetal grey paint on top and a slightly lighter grey under. With the chrome off it is very little work for a sprayer, probably 2500 euros max.
Value of the car when it is ready 45,000-50,000 euros. So it is not so difficult to make money. Car is complete, windows, dashboard, buttons, everything is there.
Car is sold because the current owner does not have the financial means to finish the car.
