Manufactured In the United kingdom by Jaguar in the late 60´s, this specific example rolled out of it´s Coventry factory with a left hand steering wheel. Destinated to the European market, it was first registered in Spain to be precise on the 12th of Septembre 1966. Since then this vehicle has run about 52 000 kilometres throughout it´s life. Mostly in the municpality of Barcelona and it´s surrounding areas.

Having been utilized in the sunny roads of Barcelona this Jaguar S-type came to us in great condition for its age. The magnificent original tan leather interior is really showing it´s true beauty. Of course after having been reworked by a professional interior restaurer, It came to us in all its revived splendour.

Now lets not forget the the most important piece on this S-Type. When you think of jaguar the first colour you would imagine is indeed green. One of its most iconic colour codes. One which many of jaguars most prolific racing stables has ran over the numerous victories of this panting jaguar throughout this century. Associated with nature, harmony, balance and youth is exactly what is depicted when your eyes land upon this beast and it´s gorgeous Sherwood green paint. The paint work of this vehicle came to us in a state where it presented a variety of age related defects. However it now can see better days. After having undergone a full make up, it known shines in all its glory as it was first ment too. As you will be able to see from the photos this Jaguar has really been well taken care of. For having nearly having 57 year´s old it is remarkable to see it as such.

The Jaguar S-type which is the antecedor of the mark II, is renowned for having the famous independent rear suspension. A component which came out of the luxurious Mark X. This marked out the S-type from many other vehicles until the 80´s. Being a cross from the Mark II and the mark X, the S-type had a longer rear body, whilst keeping the engine bay of what was deemed to be the Mark II. Which ment it could only offer a 3.4 or 3.8 Litre twin carburettor setup.

This specific Jaguar model features a 6 cylinder in line 3.4 litre motor, producing a staggering 210hp with a maximum power to weight ratio of 157kW and an impressive 293 neutonmetres of torque fed straight to its rear wheel drive. This is the same engine that was taken out of the Mark II. It is however complemented by a 4 speed manual transmission with overdrive. Which has recently had a new clutch installed in early September 2022 aswell as a new exhuast pipe in early November 2022(both receipts accounted for). Weighing in at 1,625 kilograms the S-Type achieves a 0-100 in a at the time pretty impressive 13.9 seconds. With a max speed of 185 km/h, it was described as a vehicle being both luxurious and sporty. Able to be a business man´s sedan aswell as a family car which had the likes of a grand tourer.
