There is much more to write about this beautiful 1958 Jaguar XK 150 3.8S OTS as this is not your average XK.
However, there is so much information that it would be impossible to write it all down here.

History:

Delivered in the US in early 1958. (1st owner) (VIN: S83****)
Traveled back to the UK in its early years.
Jaguar Coventry replaced the engine with the factory 3.8 liter S engine (VAS 1242-9) and registered her as such. (See production record certificates from the Jaguar Heritage Trust)

1990: Owner from Southampton sells the car to France
(to "Nord Pas De Calais" - 3rd owner)
1996: Car is sold to second French owner, still registered as British car. (4th owner)
2000: (March) 4th owner registers the car for the first time in France.
2003: Car was sold to 5th and last owner before Legendary Classics.
2006: The 5th owner starts a fully documented extensive body-off restoration that lasted about 5 years.
2011: Body-off restoration is completed by the end of that year.
Owner enjoys the car for about 10 years and drives it regularly.
2021: (June) Decision is made to completely repaint the car.
2022: (September) 3.8S engine is completely rebuilt.
2022: Further additions are made at this time since the car is now almost completely disassembled anyway:

2023 (December) Legendary Classics acquires the car and brings her to the Netherlands.

Overall condition:

The restoration between 2006 and 2011 was extensive very clearly done by professionals who knew their trade.
The car has been carefully maintained by the previous owner since the restoration, and it shows.
The new paint job in 2022, the complete engine overhaul and the addition of modern technical features have once again put the car in top condition.
Above all, the additions have made it a trouble-free, comfortable car. This without compromising its original character.
Upon arrival in the Netherlands, only minor details needed attention, which of course were addressed immediately.
The overall condition is simply superb.
