Auto Storica is pleased to announce this Jaguar XK140 Drophead Coupe 3.4

The Jaguar XK series is, in its own right, an icon within performance cars.

The success achieved in competition by the XK120 helped Jaguar sell its new XK140. A new grille, more stylized fins and a beautiful chrome band that crossed the hood gave life to the new feline, more powerful than its predecessor.

Our unit is in contest status, since since its complete restoration it has barely traveled a little more than 1500 km.

In addition, it is one of the few XK140 DHC that equips the optional MC performance package, which mounted the C-Type competition cylinder head with 2-inch H8 carburetors, producing 210 HP at 5750 rpm.

This package also included an exhaust outlet on each side, an upgraded crankshaft pulley, adjustable fog lights and windshield wiper jets.

And to further accentuate its exclusivity, it is one of only 15 units of the XK140 DHC that were originally sold in France, through the official importer Delecroix.
