Manufacturer: Bloemendaal Classic & Sportscars Nijverdalseweg 117D 7461TC RIJSSEN, NL 0651991580 http://www.bloemendaalcs.nl [email protected] InformationThis is without a doubt the most impressive Jensen Interceptor MkIII we have ever had the pleasure of presenting én admiring. The car of year 1973 shines in the metallic green color called California Sage, combined with a classy black leather interior, known as Weir Caledonian, and complemented with top-of-the-line dark gray Starlight Alcantara. What makes this Jensen even more special is that it is an original car newly delivered in the Netherlands, something that was extremely rare at the time. The current owner had the car fully restored to his liking in 2018-2022, a project carried out by professionals in both England and the Netherlands. The complete process is documented to perfection with hundreds of photos’s and extensive folders in which all details, descriptions and specifications are neatly arranged. During the restoration numerous modifications were made to improve the efficiency, reliability and performance of the engine and electronics. Cost was hardly an issue; the mechanics' job was simply to deliver the very best. The owner, whom we have known for many years, has a passion for perfection and is only satisfied with the highest achievable. For him, much of the pleasure revolves around direct involvement in the restoration process, and being with a team of craftsmen in search of perfection as an end goal.Since the completion of the restoration, the car has been driven approximately 15,000 kilometers without any problem. The car offers not only amazing performance, but also unëvated driving comfort. With an upgraded power output of 436 hp and a whopping 646 Nm of torque at 4,100 rpm, this Jensen is a real pleasure to drive. Things like perfectly functioning air conditioning and power steering are of course not lacking and add to the comfort experience. The powerful 7390 cc. V8 engine was built by the renowned English specialist John Sleath, while the interior was taken care of down to the smallest detail by Prototrim from Milton Keynes. No expense was spared; truly everything was carried out at the very highest level. The total investment in this restoration was over €300,000. Of course, this does not reflect the current value, as the owner has always subordinated the financial aspect out of love for his passion. This offers the new owner the chance to benefit immediately from a first-class Jensen without waiting for a restoration. Are you wondering if we are being overly praising? Absolutely not! Anyone who has a Jensen Interceptor on their wish list should come see and experience this car. It is truly fantastic.
