Julien's Perspective
SOME THOUGHTS ON THIS MODEL

Wider opinion suggests this is likely be the best original 2 owner Lancia Delta HF Turbo available today. Supplied new in August 1989, via the then Lancia main dealer for Greater Manchester UK, Bauer Millett Limited, it remains completely faithful as per its original delivered specification and has a complete written history from day one.

Delta HF Turbo shared significant overlap with the 8V Integrale “platform” and “HF” (High Fidelity) – a ‘nod' to its predecessor, the legendary Stratos.

Delivered new in RHD in August 1989, via the then Lancia main dealer for Greater Manchester UK, Bauer Millett Limited. Delightfully even their original and rather flamboyant gold embossed letter headed invoice is on file!

Remaining in sensational original condition courtesy of the Dinitrol protection sealant being applied at just 2 years old.

In single ownership by a Lancia Car Club GB member from 1989 to 2022. Always fastidiously maintained by marque specialists, R&D Automotive Limited, Manchester, who subsequently become its custodian, thus in perfect running order.

Mechanically nothing has been changed nor enhanced, its original 130bhp, turbocharged, 4-cylinder engine remains in place giving very great performance and just a little 'turbo-lag'!

Bodily it's a visual feast, the Quartz Grey metallic is virtually as new as are rather lovely unmarked Cromodora “pepper-pot” alloy wheels.....as you would expect, the alcantara interior follows the same trend and I would dare to say given its age, is perfect.

History wise, again its up there with best I've seen, completely uninterrupted together with all MOTs.

Exceptionally rare nowadays, having checked online there appears to be just 27 RHD UK registered left.

If you are into showing, its been detailed to potential class concours-winning standard and certainly therefore eligible for multiple collector’s car events.
