Land Rover Cars for Sale

After the war Rover started to develop a new all-terrain vehicle, inspired by the American Jeep. Lightweight and rustproof, the first Land Rover was clad in aluminium alloy, due to the post-war steel shortage. It introduced 4x4 capabilities to road cars and was soon adopted by the military as well. With an increasing demand for recreational off-roaders, the Range Rover made its debut in 1970. Tata Motors, India’s largest automobile manufacturer, acquired Land Rover and Jaguar from Ford Motor in 2008 and it producing vehicles both under its own name and the Range Rover sub-brand.
