Launched in 1991, the Marcos Martina was conceived as a more accessible model, based on Ford Cortina underpinnings and built until 1993, with only around 80 examples produced.
To keep costs low, the Martina utilized the engine, transmission, front subframe, steering rack, and rear axle from a Ford Cortina Mk4 or Mk5. It is powered by a 2.0-litre Ford Pinto engine, reflecting the model’s Ford-based mechanical package.
The wider Cortina steering rack necessitated the Martina’s distinctive arch treatment, giving it a similar profile to the Mantula.
This smart example is finished in a vibrant shade of metallic Royal Blue with a stylish interior in Parchment leather. Built in 2014 by the vendor’s late father, it is believed to be the last registered Marcos.
The car is supplied with build booklets and additional paperwork supporting the build and registration. A rare, late-registered Marcos with family ownership history and an accessible route into Marcos motoring.
