Description

Please note: millage is in kilometers and price in Euro's

The Maserati Merak, the faster, nicer, and perhaps crisper looking brother of the Maserati Bora, came from a family with unparalleled good genes. Where the Bora was equipped with a V8, the Merak opted for a lighter V6, resulting in considerably better handling. An elegant dancer versus the heavyweight bodybuilder of the family.

Let's dwell on that impressive pedigree for a moment. For the Merak is the masterpiece of none other than Giorgetto Giugiaro, the legend who was also responsible for icons such as the Saab 9000, BMW M1, Lotus Esprit, and yes, even the Nikon D8 camera. A résumé you could say hello to.

Anyway, let's not digress. In front of you is a Merak, born in 1974, powered by a 3.0-liter engine that has its origins in the 2.7-liter SM engine. Originally delivered in Italy, this beauty has been in the proud possession of its current owner since 2014. The combination of the black exterior and red interior is nothing short of breathtaking. As soon as you open the door and take a seat, the dashboard welcomes you with a design that looks suspiciously like that of an SM. The seating position is reminiscent of a real race car, but surprisingly comfortable. And then, a glance to the rear-and yes, a back seat! Granted, more suitable for hamsters than humans, but it's a true 2+2 so can be justified at home too!

She has always been neatly maintained and is ready to conquer a new owner.
