"A roadster for those who appreciate both beauty and engineering." – Mercedes Benz

Let’s take a step back in time, to the year 1959. The scent of freshly ground coffee fills the air, coming from lively cafés where people gather on a spring morning. The soft purr of an engine catches the attention of passersby. A sleek Mercedes-Benz, proudly displaying the iconic star on its grille, turns the corner and gracefully comes to a stop in the middle of the boulevard. All eyes follow the elegant lines of the car. There it is, the 190SL, the stylish and elegant counterpart to its bigger brother, the legendary 300SL.

The 190SL, inspired by the design of the Mercedes ‘Ponton’, was first unveiled at the New York Auto Show. A year later, in Geneva, the production version was introduced to the public. Interestingly, this beautiful roadster wasn’t positioned as a pure sports car, but rather as a luxurious, comfortable two-seater. This turned out to be a golden move—between 1955 and 1963, over 25,000 units rolled off the German production line, each crafted with the same attention to detail and craftsmanship.

This Cool Classic has received full technical care. Maintained with love and care, everything has been done to bring it into top technical condition. While the paintwork technique may be a bit outdated, it does nothing to detract from the charm and quality of the car. The car is ready for beautiful and enjoyable rides. Can we leave that to you?
