In 1984, Mercedes introduced the successor to the legendary W123 series. The W124 series took over and simply did the trick. Indeed, like its predecessor, the W124 is known for its robust technology and very solid build quality. It is therefore not surprising that you still regularly come across them today. This example is beautifully preserved and for its age has minimal wear and tear. This car is extra interesting to drive in the transitional scheme where one pays a maximum of 138 euros in road tax per year if you store the car during the winter months.
