Maintenance-wise, the car has been pampered by the previous owner who performed a complete reset of the electrical part and K-Jetronic injection in 2019 along with transmission oil replacement.
Last complete service performed in September 2021 including spark plugs and along with brake check in excellent condition.
The interior, equipped with the precious birch briar, is in very good condition, the rear sofa looks really new, but the "front seats" are no less.

The Mercedes-Benz W126 is the debut work of Bruno Sacco. On a collector's level, that's enough to want to garage an example of the W126 S-Class, launched in 1979. In fact, the designer from Friuli, "recruited" in 1958 by the Mercedes style center, was appointed head of it in 1975, signing all projects until 1999: from the S-Class precisely, to the various A-Class, SLK and ML.
The genesis of the W126 series began as early as 1971, as soon as the previous W116 series was completed and about to be launched on the market. It must be said that the design of the W126 was heavily influenced by the 1973 oil crisis, and so many of the priority specifications of the design were aimed at fuel economy, even though in this case it was an elite car.
