A Mercedes-Benz 450 SEL from the W116 series, first registered in 1979 and preserved in its original configuration.
It is equipped with an M117 V8 gasoline engine, 4,520 cm³ and 165 kW (225 CV), paired with an automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive.
This is a particularly interesting vehicle due to its history and mileage: it currently has 80,015 km on the odometer, has had only one owner, and its mileage is verifiable through documentation.
The car is in running condition, drives well, and has a valid vehicle inspection (ITV). It recently underwent a mechanical overhaul at a shop specializing in classic cars, with an invoice available: replacement of all eight fuel injectors, brake calipers and pads, brake lines, and general maintenance.
Notable features:
– Working climate control
– Working cruise control
– Power windows
– Central locking
– Power steering
– Black leather interior
– Original Becker Mexico radio
– Wood interior trim
– Spare tire
The heater is currently not working. The leather interior shows the natural wear and tear of a nearly fifty-year-old vehicle, but it is in good overall condition with no major tears.
There is localized corrosion in the rear area and on the rear pillars. This is clearly shown in the photographs, and to properly address it, the affected areas will need to be stripped, treated, and repainted. We do not intend to hide this issue or present the car as restored.
A 450 SEL with exceptionally low mileage, a high degree of originality, a valid MOT, and recent mechanical work already completed. It’s ready to enjoy right away and allows you to gradually tackle its cosmetic restoration.
Documentation and invoices for the work performed are available. Additional information will be provided to seriously interested buyers.
