If you're looking for a rare Mercury muscle car, look no further! This is one of just 110 built with the S-Code 390 CID V8 engine and a 4-speed manual transmission. It is also one of 1,567 XR7 coupes that received a Traction Lok differential, with a 3.25 gear ratio. Additionally, it is one of 3,744 to get power windows, and one of 761 to go to the Seattle DSO.

This car was built for speed with the 390 under the hood, a 4-speed wide ratio transmission, and a 3.25 Traction-Lok rear differential. It features a striking Vibrant Yellow exterior with a Saddle vinyl roof and Cragar SS wheels for a classic muscle car look. The car also has a rear spoiler and sport mirrors. The Cougar is the sister car to the Ford Mustang but offers features that many consider improvements, including heavy-duty suspension, hide-away headlights, and sequential taillights.

Inside, you'll find Saddle bucket seats, a center console, XR7 embroidered floor mats, and power windows. Under the hood, the engine is clean and well-presented with chrome valve covers and an air cleaner.

This Cougar has actual documented miles on the title. The title reports 69,346 actual miles, but the odometer currently reads 63,965 due to a minor error when the owner swapped two numbers. It recently drove over an hour to our showroom without issue. It is ready for a new owner to enjoy and showcase this piece of automotive and classic muscle car history.
