The Factory build sheet confirms the Body, upholstery, and wheels were originally specified Green, just as you see her today. Sporting its two-seater body, number 612. Its recent meticulous restoration completed on or around 2016 saw replacement body frame timbers whilst retaining her original body skin.
The aforementioned restoration which included the mechanicals was undertaken and overseen by respected engineer Nev Churcher, who once completed sold this J2 solely in order to purchase and restore his next project a very rare J3 with significant history. Our client purchased her in December 2016 from Nev and has enjoyed many road miles, along with events like Pre-war Prescott and to spectate at various MG and other race meetings around the country.
The car is still reasonably fresh from Nev's restoration having only completed 1365 miles since then she's barely run in, ready for the next custodian to enjoy in her 90th year and beyond.
