Restored in 2016 and hasn’t been driven since then. This car is the featured twin-cam car in the 1996 book “MG Sports Cars” by John Heilig, which notes that just 2,111 of these twin cam MGAs were built from 1958 to 1960. Purchased new locally in 1960 and well-cared for by a collector. We did a body-off cosmetic restoration to the rust-free car and returned it to the owner’s garage. We purchased the car from the owner’s estate, and found it parked in the same spot where we put it after restoration in 2016. After a little going-over, the car runs and drives great and could use a new home with someone who will care for this gem.
