Brimming with character, driving pleasure for ten and no worries: an MG B in a nutshell. This 1976 B is one that has already been restored once and is therefore in a healthy condition. The restoration is now the necessary years ago but despite that, the English roadster looks exceptionally healthy. The British roadster is one of the most famous and popular classic open two-seater cars and for many years it was almost the standard when you thought of a classic roadster. The beautifully lined B was presented in 1962 and symbolizes the affordable English classic roadster. This dark red B is one from the later years, 1976 to be exact. The connoisseur will then immediately look at the bumpers and indeed: they were replaced during the restoration for the stylish and classic chrome ones. Most people won't mind. That chrome is all in exceptionally clean condition, something that also applies to the neat wire wheels. The dark red paint gives the car an extra stylish and classic look. The interior is just as neat as the exterior, with part cloth and part skai upholstery. This looks practically new and sits excellently. The neat black carpets also stand out, as does the dashboard which is in original and fine condition. Smiths gauges all function as they should. The MG is fitted with a beige hood with crisp window, which literally and figuratively matches the rest of the car nicely. The MG B is equipped with a 1.8-liter four-cylinder mated to a four-speed transmission. The single carburetor provides the perfect fuel mixture and the 123 Ignition electronic ignition provides the perfect ignition. The suspension and brakes are also excellent for each other, making this B a very pleasant driving roadster. We already started there: character, driving pleasure and no worries. The overall condition of the MG B makes an exceptionally fresh impression and this is further underlined the moment the MG B does what it was made for: drive!
