We offer for sale this beautiful and rare MG TA Q-Type Special from 1937. This is a rare MG Q-Type that is based on the chassis of an MG TA from 1937. This English pre-war racer has been extensively restored between 2018 and 2020 and is in very good condition both optically and technically. The restoration is recorded in a full folder with invoices. The Q-Type special is powered by a 1250cc XPAG engine linked to a 5-speed manual gearbox that provides an impressive driving experience. The 5-speed gearbox makes shifting much easier and ensures a higher top speed than any other T-Type MG.

During the restoration of this MG TA Q-Type Special, no expense was spared to make it a top car. The bodywork is handmade and has some beautiful details such as cycle wings fenders and a double fuel cap. Furthermore, the classic is equipped with a Brooklands type Fishtail exhaust, black painted spoke wheels with Blockley tires, a front fog lamp, side steps, spare wheel on the side, Brooklands aero screens, Brooklands type steering wheel and leather strap over the hood. The interior features beautiful brown suede leather bucket seats that not only look great, but are also comfortable. Truly a beautiful British pre-war racer that is completely ready for its new owner.
