Since 1995 in the Netherlands, The MG TC was the first new post-war MG. The TC was introduced in 1945. The TC was based on the pre-war TB and largely similar to this car. The main improvement to the TC was the larger interior which had increased in width by 10 cm. The styling was identical to the TB, pre-war with separate, smoothly lined, fenders, large 19-inch wire wheels and a folding windshield. The MG TB/TC series was admired by American soldiers who were about to return to America; this kind of sportscar, offering a lot of driving pleasure, was not known in America. The result was that many TB’s and TC’s were taken to America and thus a huge demand for the MG TC arose on the other side of the ocean. All TCs were right-hand drive, had leaf springs all around and a 54 hp. four-cylinder engine. In 1950, the MG TC was succeeded by the MG TD.ie: Beautiful MG TC of construction year 1949. Executed in the classic colors red with a red leather interior. In the late 90's the car was extensively and professionally restored to original standards. The MG features include wire wheels , original Lucas lights and mirrors, and aluminum valve cover.
