Vehicle in the hands of the current owner for around 30 years, having been acquired in Portugal from a collector.
It was the subject of a complete restoration, around 20 years ago, which saw major interventions in terms of engine, suspensions and painting, and has been immaculately maintained and very well preserved to this day.
Practically used at vintage vehicle events, having a constant presence with many stories to tell.
It is recognized by the entity representing the F.I.V.A. in Portugal, the Clube Português de Automoveis Antigos (CPAA), as a vehicle of historical interest.
This model Y of the M.G brand, was produced between 1947 and 1953, has a 1,250 cc gasoline engine with 46 hp, this version has some particularities that make this model more exclusive than some of its direct competitors of the time, such as interior all in leather, with wooden panel and very peculiar pressure gauges in the octagonal shape, sunroof, turn signal indicators, spare tire in its own compartment, external and under the trunk, opening front glass, low and high button key on the foot, lever-operated jacks incorporated into the engine oil pump, supplementary fog lights, pedal system evolved for the time, providing greater comfort and safety to the user. All equipment perfectly functional and in good condition.
