The Morgan Plus 8 3.9 V8 is, quite rightly, an incredibly popular British classic. At first it looks like you are looking at a car over 100 years old but if you keep looking at the Plus 8 longer you will see that it is quite a modern car. This example was delivered new in 1991 and features the 3.9 V8 engine mated to a 5-speed manual transmission with a limited slip differential. The car is completely original and has only 23,394 miles remaining on the odometer. The mileage is fully substantiated by the present, conclusive service history. It is a wonderful example of how a car should be well maintained. At first sight it is immediately clear that this is a cherished Morgan. The body is beautifully cared for and is completely original. The paint of the car is nicely maintained and has only some very light traces of use that fit the age and mileage of the car. The car sits on beautiful wire wheels that have good tires in the correct sizes. The convertible top is easy to operate, is in good condition and fits nicely throughout. The picture is completed at the rear of the car by the thick exhaust that sticks out on either side. The interior is wonderfully original. The leather has developed a wonderful patina and is still wonderfully supple. The seats sit well, the steering wheel looks great, and the burr walnut-trimmed dashboard is beautiful to look at as well. The controls and instruments all function as they should and are all beautifully original. The technology, of course, is what matters most. The 3.9 liter V8 is fuel injected and has been top maintained. The engine produces 190 horsepower. By today's standards, that may not seem like much, but if we take into account the car's weight of only 940 kilograms, we can't help but say that this is a tremendously fast car. The Morgan accelerates from 0-100 in 6 seconds and reaches a top speed of 200 kilometers per hour. What stands out while driving is the ever-present torque. The engine excels in its very smooth running and hangs on the gas wonderfully. Thanks to the fuel injection, it runs very smoothly and if you want to go full throttle, you are supported by the available limited slip differential. The brakes and suspension are perfectly maintained and obviously function as it should. The entire service history is present with the car through a completed service book and invoices. In short, a beautiful Morgan plus 8 3.9 V8 in superb original condition and impeccable maintenance.
