Description

Plymouth fans! And soon-to-be Plymouth fans! Gateway Classic Cars of Dallas is lucky to offer this hot looking 1970 Plymouth GTX in Sublime green! Ok let's start this out right- yep, it's a real one, AND it is a 440 HiPo VIN car! Vin starts with RS23U0G (Belvedere, GTX, Hardtop, 440 High Performance. You gotta wonder how many cars it spanked back in the day (and how many sets of 70 series tires it baked). Ah yes- the sight, sound, and smell of an American Muscle Car. Something a Tesla just can't duplicate, let alone any modern vehicle. And now, these cars are investments as much as they are fun.

There's something about the name "GTX" that just says bass-ass. The GTX is a cut above the Road Runner; more of a luxury-class hot rod if you will, as exterior trim and interior finishes offered more detail. This Plymouth fires right up and has a tough copy idle that'll put a smile on anyone's face. The 60's baby. It was quite a time.

This Plymouth GTX stuns in its Limelight Green finish and sports a matching numbers 440 CID V8. It's equipped with a Torqueflite automatic transmission and underwent a thorough restoration by restorer Bob Romig / Schnitker Body Repair Inc. Sherman Texas. The car came out of Arkansas, to Schnitker Body in Sherman, where it received a Comprehensive OEM Rotisserie Restored by Bob for his client. Outside, the paint is smooth and of very good quality, looking pretty much factory stock. It was taken down to the bare metal, Inside, you'll find a fresh, neat, and tidy interior looking like new. Matching numbers 440 CID Magnum big block V-8 engine, Rebuilt by Arlington Machine Shop. 727 Torqueflite automatic transmission. Finished in factory FJ5 Limelight Green, Factory TX9 Black interior, Factory center console, Correct Polyglas GT tires, Functional factory clock, New NOS Rear End, New Wiring, Etc.
