Description

Ladies and Gentlemen, Gateway Classic Cars of Kansas City has just consigned and placed on the world-wide classic car marketplace for sale, an original survivor, beautiful 1981 Trans Am Turbo! The performance of the force-fed 4.9-liter V8 was comparable to that of the recently departed, at the time, 6.6 liter engine, but without the traditional turbo craziness. Just the opposite: It was a relatively civilized, quiet car that happened to be as fast as a contemporary Corvette or Camaro Z28 on a road course.

You could option the turbo 4.9 into any Firebird, but the Trans Am included a long list of This honest 1981 survivor Trans Am shows just 88,734 original miles! Although the exterior features the ever popular and famous ‘Screaming Chicken" on the hood, she's a little faded, but original. The exterior shows good paint, however, a good buffing would really make her shine! The fabric brown interior is very nice and all looks good with dash and gauges. This bird is loaded with options such as air conditioning, am/fm stereo and cd player, power brakes, power steering and tilt wheel.

There is no mistaking sitting behind the dash of a vintage Pontiac Trans Am! Plus, turbo models feature sequenced turbo level gauges on the back side of the hood for the driver to see when maximum boost is achieved!
