The Porsche 356 is a sports car that was first produced by Austrian company Porsche Konstruktionen GesmbH in 1948-1949, and then by German company Dr. Ing. h. c. F. Porsche GmbH from 1950-1965.

It was Porsche's first production automobile. The 356 paved the way for Porsche's evolution to greatness.

The model went through several changes throughout its production, with the final stretch of the 356 introducing the C and SC models. The Porsche 356, close to stock or highly modified, has enjoyed much success in competition history. The original 356 was designed by Ferry Porsche, the son of the founder of the Porsche company, and co-founder of the Austrian manufacturing plant.

This 1963 Porsche 356C has been subject to an earlier restoration to a high standard and has stood up well, still in supreme condition and a great driving car. The car is Swiss registered.
