Description

In 1964, the last Porsche 356s left the factory after 17 years of production. The 356C was logically the most developed 356 and therefore has the best driving characteristics. The most well-known and noticeable improvement over the 356B was the replacement of the drum brakes for disc brakes. Underneath, however, several things improved that benefited handling; a heavier front stabilizer bar, a reinforced connection between the steering rack and the steering column and numerous smaller adjustments to the suspension and chassis. The car received more engine power as standard, the gearbox was synchronized and, for example, the demisting of the windscreen was significantly improved. Filling up with petrol became more practical, as the entire front hatch no longer had to be opened thanks to the installation of a user-friendly petrol flap. Interesting facts, more important for most classic enthusiasts is the beautiful iconic design of the 356 and the driving pleasure that the car can still provide despite its old age. Especially in a good and original example like this 356C, you will experience optimal driving pleasure thanks to the atmosphere, driving characteristics and performance. The beautiful Karmin red color scheme in combination with the beautifully shiny chrome gives the car a warm and classic look. A nice side effect is that the value development of the 356 has been positive for years and demand is still increasing. I can't make it more fun.

EXTERIOR
This 356 C was sold new in California USA, the so-called 'black plates' from the 1960s are still present with the car. The origin of the car is almost a guarantee that it is rust-free, and this is also the case in this case. The car was repainted in the original Karmin Rot color purely for cosmetic reasons. The chrome is in a very nice, deep shiny condition. The bodywork has never been dismantled, so the car has perfect fits. The special feature of the car is the original 'back in time' appearance.
