It is obvious that the Porsche 911 can be called an iconic car. One of the early ancestors is this 911 2.0 in Short Wheel Base version, built in 1968. In that year the car was sold in the USA and remained there until 2014, after which a Dutch collector brought the car to the Netherlands. He particularly fell for the overall condition of the car and the rare sunroof.
This Porsche was completely restored in 2015-2018 by a specialist. During the restoration the original color Sandbeige was changed to the much more appealing and also original color Bahama Yellow. Also, the standard Sportomatic gearbox was changed by an original “dog leg” 5-speed gearbox. A great improvement, because with a Sportomatic you really don’t want to drive. It handles the opposite of what you expect from a sportive Porsche. And of course you don’t drive a Porsche to drive around like an old granny. The engine, also completely overhauled, is the original, so matching numbers, one.
Now, after having driven it 5268 kilometers, the owner thinks the time is right to downsize his extensive collection. Fortunately for those who are interested in a very honest, really like new, Porsche 911 2.0 Coupe in the much sought-after SWB version, you don’t not have to wait for years for a restoration job and can enjoy it right away. And fore sure for less costs.
Do you think you deserve such a legendary Porsche 911 2.0 Coupe SWB, than we would be pleased to hear that.
