1972 Porsche 911 Targa quot;oelklapquot; Restomod
This so-called quot;restomodquot; looks like an original and rare 911S, but is highly modified.
The car was quot;body offquot; restored and modified several years ago, which explains its excellent condition.
The modifications made were done with two goals in mind.
First, to create a car that could be driven both daily and for long trips.
Second, the car needed to perform well enough to stand its ground during demanding classic car rallies.
Both goals were clearly achieved.
The chassis has been modernized so that the car can be driven both comfortably and sportily.
This classic car is powered by a revised and slightly modified 3.0 Super Carrera engine, equipped with a double Weber carburetor system.
This makes the car reliable and fast at the same time.
A completely rebuilt and reinforced 915 gearbox was mated to transfer power to the road.
The larger brake systems from a Porsche 964 were chosen for proper braking power.
To complete the build, the optical side also received the attention it needed.
The car was repainted in its original quot;Grand Prix Weissquot; color and looks beautiful.
To give the car a sportier look, it was fitted with original S model parts all around.
Inside, functionality meets practicality. All switches and knobs are fully operational, and a high-quality rally trip master has been fitted.
For some light entertainment, the new Porsche Classic radio and navigation is installed. To ensure that the driver and co-pilot are comfortable on longer trips, the car is fitted with RECARO tilt seats
In short, if you are looking for an F-model with a great original look but with the capabilities of a later generation 911, this is the car.
