Description

I am offering for sale this for the connoisseur, the collector, who is looking for the extraordinary, the unique, irretrievable 'original' among the Porsche 911s in this condition. It is my 1976 Porsche 911 2.7 S - Coupé from many years of collector and connoisseur ownership. The body from Stuttgart, no. 9116201441, engine no. 6561XXX, type 911.84, 5-speed gearbox type 915.44, no. 71636XX. All data, serial numbers and equipment colors are confirmed by the Porsche AG archive as 'Original as delivered' and thus as 'Matching Numbers' or 'Matching Colors'. Delivered in July 1976 by renowned Porsche dealer UA = Los Angeles, since mid-1976 until June 2014 registered 'Blue Plate' vehicle in California/USA. Sensational find after a very long search for a vehicle in unwelded and accident-free original condition with untouched original bodywork with breathtaking gap dimensions and door fits, uniquely beautiful and extremely rare special request delivery color combination of the paintwork in 'Coppa Florio Blue', Porsche color no. 360 with special request interior color no. 86 = full leather brown beige, original interior, original headliner, original carpets matching in Porsche high-pile velour quality light brown.
Stunningly beautiful concours restoration and detailing from 06|2014 to the present day, vehicle restored to delivery condition down to the smallest detail.
The vehicle comes from first hand and was driven here exclusively and regularly on my 07 classic car number.
This Porsche is still in first-hand condition, as there is no further registration in addition to the initial registration. I found the paintwork in its original untouched condition and painstakingly restored it to perfection by hand. The entire paintwork was sanded and polished to a high gloss - an extremely time-consuming process that took many years. The result is an irretrievably beautiful original paintwork in the finest gloss of the original synthetic resin paint.
All rubber parts have also been refurbished with specially developed emulsions or replaced exclusively with original Porsche Classic spare parts. The full leather interior, which is very rare for a 2.7 S model, is completely original.
This is an extremely rare first-hand vehicle, in the first original paintwork, with the original first interior, i.e. the first original full leather interior and the first carpet in one of the rarest color combinations from the 1976 customer special request program.
The technology is also perfect. The engine was dismantled, found to be completely unremarkable, then reassembled with restored original parts. The gearbox is an optional five-speed gearbox at extra cost. All metal parts have been re-galvanized and then - as in the original - given a new yellow passivation. I have documented every restored part with a photo.
The drive is completely oil-tight and works absolutely unobtrusively.
Special attention was paid to the chassis, the brakes and the ATS aluminum wheels. All parts have either been newly galvanized, powder-coated or repainted in several layers.
The underbody of the vehicle is in cleaned, untouched original condition.
Special request aluminum brake calipers type 'S' are mounted on the front axle.
The quality of all fitted parts far exceeds the original delivery quality.
Unique and very interesting color photo documentation of the entire refurbishing process is available for viewing.
Vehicles in an original state of preservation in this high quality with carefully refurbished, absolutely consistent original technology are practically impossible to find on the market and are only offered extremely rarely.
If you wish to contact me personally by telephone, I will be happy to give you a possible telephone number or call you back if necessary.
All the information given here is intended to provide as precise and well-founded a description as possible of a truly exceptional and unique vehicle. This - as well as the vehicle itself - is based on over four decades of experience and intensive, best possible research in the Porsche factory archive with the support of reliable specialist literature. However, please do not take my statements as contractually guaranteed characteristics.
