Porsche 911 Coupé Outlaw 964 Turbo engine block 915 transmission IROC version
Since 2018, this Porsche 911 Coupé has been gradually transformed into a distinctive Outlaw, with a focus on engineering, handling, and appearance. During this period, the car has been maintained and modified by a specialist in air-cooled Porsches.
The engine is built around the lower block of a Porsche 964 Turbo (M30/69 block), combined with the upper assembly of a 3.2-liter engine. The drivetrain is mated to a manual 915 transmission. This combination gives the car a direct and mechanical driving feel that fits well with the character of the model.
At the start of the project, the Porsche was technically prepared for use. Since then, further improvements and maintenance work have been carried out every year. The car averaged approximately 2,000 to 3,000 kilometers per year and was inspected every spring. During these inspections, the oil and filters were replaced, and the valves, spark plugs, brakes, wheel bearings, and other technical components were checked or replaced as needed.
The braking system has been upgraded with front brake calipers from a Porsche 993. These are paired with drilled and vented Zimmermann brake rotors. The brake lines have also been replaced and modified accordingly.
In terms of appearance, the car is equipped with IROC bumpers, a ducktail rear spoiler, red Porsche stripes, and yellow Bosch headlights. The gold-colored Group 4 PAG wheels in Campagnolo style complement the classic racing look well and are fitted with four new Toyo Proxes R888R tires. A DP Motorsport DP11 muffler is mounted at the rear.
The interior has also been customized. The Porsche features leather Recaro Pole Position ABE bucket seats with an embossed Recaro logo on the headrests, a roll cage, red seatbelts, aluminum pedals, and a sport steering wheel. In addition, the interior has been reupholstered. Smaller details have also been updated, including the sound-deadening mat in the engine compartment and the felt around the sunroof.
In March 2026, the car underwent a full inspection. This included replacing the engine oil and oil filter, installing new spark plugs, and fitting four new Toyo Proxes R888R tires. The car also received a new APK certification.
