Description

This is a particularly rare 911 3.2 Coupe: This special model is one of only 127 vehicles of the “250,000 Porsche 911 produced” edition that was delivered in Germany in 1987, which was manufactured immediately after the factory holidays. A total of 875 examples of this anniversary model were brought onto the market worldwide as a coupé, targa and convertible. The limited version differs, among other things, in the exclusive exterior color “diamond blue metallic” in which the rim stars were also painted. The interior is in a silver-blue metallic and therefore stands out from the series models. In addition to the unmistakable color combination, this special model can be recognized by the anniversary plaque attached to the glove compartment.
This 911 Carrera Coupe not only looks perfect, it also drives like that. The 3.2 liter engine is powerful and torquey, especially in the version without a catalytic converter, with 231 hp. This was the strongest and most sophisticated naturally aspirated engine to date and likes to show off its sporty side while still remaining sophisticated and unobtrusive. Only the last series benefited from the new G50 transmission. This is one of the reasons why it is a very sophisticated classic that will continue to impress with its reliable technology in the future.

Vehicle history

The first delivery took place on September 4th, 1987 by the then Porsche direct dealer Ernst Islinger in Mannheim to the first owner. At the beginning of the '90s the second owner, a Dr. from Heidelberg, the vehicle was taken to Dublin, Ireland due to a change of residence. In 2011, the vehicle came back to Germany and was registered to the Lundt company (the owner is Mr. Lundt, a renowned Porsche specialist in the Berlin area) and became the property of a collector from Berchtesgaden as part of a Porsche 911 anniversary collection in 2014.
The car was most recently owned by a professor in Munich. The old original vehicle registration documents, the original service booklet and the current original vehicle registration document are available. This means that the history is complete and unambiguously documented and comprehensible.
