Description

There are few cars’s as legendary as the Porsche 911 Turbo. In the very early years of the Turbo, as with the 930 Turbo, the Turbo's sudden emergence of the famous ‘turbo lag’ coupled with the car's weight in the rear caused quite an anxious reputation among certain buyers. But with the advent of technical changes, Porsche answered by giving the Turbo a smoother driving experience. With the 930 Turbo, thankfully Porsche didn't stop there in terms of air-cooled engine and turbo madness. The 964 Turbo was a worthy successor and a true Porsche rear-engined masterpiece. Of course, the 964 Turbo retained the unique and recognizable Turbo look through its distinctive bodywork. As you can imagine, the model could not be compared to anything at the time. Sensational is the word that comes to mind. There was also little subtlety about this Porsche. The 964 was still the only car with the engine in the rear available as a production sports car. Of course, the 964 Turbo is immediately recognizable by its huge spoiler. Under that huge spoiler and hood is the fantastic 3.3-liter six-cylinder engine with large intercooler. How about 0-100 km/h in about 5 seconds? And a top speed of about 270 km/h? Serious performance, even now. We also do not need to explain to you that with a car of this caliber you need to have your attention at all times. However, technical changes over the years have made it easier and that makes this a great driver's car. Another nice detail: many automotive journalists were so impressed with the power steering, and this was even hailed as the best ever made. Porsche produced only 3,660 copies of the 964 Turbo. Our Porsche 911 Turbo was delivered on June 26, 1991 at Porsche Center D’leteren in Brussels and has driven only 79,000 km and is in impeccable condition. The first owner ordered this blood-fast turbo with ‘Limited Slip Differential’, sports seats that are electrically adjustable on the left and right sides and an electric sunroof. In addition, the owner chose Nachtblau Perl as body color with blue leather upholstery and carpets.  This car comes with all original Porsche booklets, including stamped service booklet. Also included with the car are multiple invoices, including recent major maintenance that took place. There is also a complete Bilstein kit mounted for excellent handling. We deliver this Porsche with a printout of the mileage history.  For a Porsche that is over 30 years old, the entire car looks fantastic. The paint shows very few signs of use and the bodywork is tight and overall neat. The windows are in very good condition, as are the trims and the beautiful rims with correct tires. Not unimportant: the body has correct and nice fits and the doors close excellently. The sunroof works excellent, as do the power windows. The underside of the car makes a very good impression and we can rightly say that the low mileage is an excellent reflection of the condition of this copy. In the interior we find the sports seats that look almost like new. The cheeks of the seats are still undamaged and the blue carpets are not discolored as can be the case with other examples. The headliner also looks excellent. Furthermore, the car is also richly equipped as standard. We find airbags, air conditioning, but also a Porsche radio with extensive functions.  The 3.3 liter engine likes to make itself heard and the sound of the six-cylinder engine is incredibly recognizable, as only an air-cooled Porsche sounds. The engine runs excellently and the turbo does its job as you would expect. The gearbox handles wonderfully with short and tight gears, with no backlash. The large ventilated disc brakes brake superbly and the brake pedal feels confident. Due to the Bilstein suspension, this example really lies like a block on the road.  Are you interested in this beautiful Porsche 911 Turbo? Please contact us today, we are happy to help you.
