In 2005, the sixth generation Porsche 911 entered the market. This new Porsche, also referred to as the 997, was the first series in which the headlights characteristic of the 911 were reinstated. Initially, the 997 series was delivered only as the Carrera and Carrera S. In later years, versions such as the GT3, Targa 4(S) and Turbo were added. Whereas the Carrera with its 3.6 liter engine already had 325 hp, the engine of the Carrera S is no less than 3.8 liter in size and the engine power has increased to 355 hp. This makes it possible, in combination with the tiptronic, to rattle off the familiar acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.8 seconds. The stated top speed, unencumbered by a speed limiter, is a whopping 293 km/h. Those are still not bad numbers by today's standards…A Porsche is a top-notch experience in many ways anyway, but this particular 911 has just a little something extra on top of that to make you feel like you own something special: in fact, this Carrera S is, in our opinion, more than brilliantly put together. The Indian-red exterior color combined with the beautiful dark blue leather interior is certainly not commonplace but gives the Porsche a particularly fresh look. As the 911 splashes off your screen so is the car experienced real-live. What a clean and fresh specimen this original Dutch delivered Porsche is.

The car is in its original paint and the upholstery shows hardly any traces of use. Clearly a 911 that has been cherished. As with every Porsche 911 it is a joy to hear the engine as soon as it is started. The boxer engine createsëer the typical and recognizable Porsche sound. Once the tiptronic is put into drive, the sublime road handling for which the 911 is famous can be enjoyed. In combination with this gearbox, the Carrera S is a true all-rounder: the car can be driven wonderfully lazily, and is therefore perfectly suitable for daily use, but the sporty driver is also served absolutely perfectly. Due to the fact that this is a Carrera S, you can already enjoy standard features such as the fine xenon lighting, the beautiful red brake calipers that match well with the Indian red paint, the beautifully chromed double exhaust pipes on the left and right and the beautiful silver-gray dials that reinforce the feeling of being on the road with something special. On top of that, this Carrera S is also equipped, for example, with an original info/audio/navigation system recently upgraded by Porsche, automatic air conditioning and a steel sliding/tilting roof. This is an above average and rare fine specimen, unique for its idiosyncratic composition. All the booklets are present with the car and the service booklet shows that the car has been maintained punctually and only by an officiële Porsche dealer or a real Porsche specialist (see the pictures’s of the service booklet on the Classic Park website). The car has recently been serviced at Porsche center Gelderland.
