This lot will be auctioned via Iconic Auctioneers, The Classic Sale at Supercar Fest 2026 on Saturday the 16th of May, Sywell Aerodrome, Sywell, Northampton, NN6 0BN.
For the 1989 Model Year, Porsche introduced the 928 GT with a 5-speed manual gearbox, 'Design 90' 16" alloys, sports suspension and a ZF 40% LSD
They were also fitted with diagnostic and tyre pressure monitoring systems, a digital trip and electric central-locking was introduced
This, UK-supplied, right-hand drive, manual gearbox, 928 GT is one of just 38 examples according to online data, first registered in June 1991
Supplied new by Porsche Cars GB Ltd. in Reading and finished in classic Guards Red and Linen leather with red piped sports seats, currently showing 101,741 miles
Accompanied by a large history file including its original Porsche book pack and service book, showing a full Porsche main dealer history up to 83,584 miles
Supported by a Porsche Club 928 Register Certificate confirming original UK specification, colours and options including Blaupunkt Toronto SQR 46, sports seats, sport shock absorbers, green-tint windscreen and sunshine roof
Benefitted from a comprehensive programme of works with a specialist in 2019 at c.100,886 miles totalling almost £10,000 (detailed invoices on file)
Acquired by our vendor in 2021 and since forming part of a private collection, stored in a purpose-built, climate-controlled facility with minimal use
Due to this period of storage, the car may require a degree of recommissioning prior to regular use. HPI report records a Category N insurance marker (non-structural) incident in 1992. Repaired and returned to the road.  Fitted with a Thatcham-approved immobiliser with spare fob and certificate
