This 2005 Porsche Boxster 987.1 is finished in Midnight Blue Metallic, combined with an all-black leather interior and a black convertible top. The deep dark blue paint looks great on the car and gives it a stylish and timeless appearance.
The car was originally delivered in Belgium and was delivered new on July 9, 2005, by Porsche Center Brussels – D’Ieteren in Drogenbos. The odometer currently reads approximately 98,700 km.
An important technical advantage is that the original engine was completely overhauled by Porsche specialist Auto-Resto at 80,031 km. Since this overhaul, the engine has covered less than 19,000 km. At 96,850 km, the same specialist also performed a pump modification. This means that the well-known engine issues of the Porsche 987.1 generation have already been addressed.
Recently, a Carnewal GT exhaust system was installed at Carnewal in Belgium. This exhaust gives the 2.7-liter six-cylinder boxer engine with 245 pk a fuller and sportier sound, without making the car excessively loud.
The engine is paired with a five-speed manual transmission. The Boxster handles sharply, shifts smoothly, and steers precisely—just as you’d expect from a Porsche. Combined with the mid-engine layout, the manual transmission, and the sound of the Carnewal GT exhaust, this is a very fun car to drive.
The current 19-inch Porsche wheels have recently been completely repowder-coated and are therefore once again in very good condition. In addition, the rear tires have recently been replaced. The body and the Midnight Blue Metallic paint also look exceptionally beautiful.
The interior is well-maintained and fully upholstered in black leather. The car also features an Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel, which gives the interior a sportier look and feels comfortable in the hands.
