The Alpine V6 Turbo was introduced in the mid-1980s as the more powerful evolution of the Alpine V6 GT. The car combines a lightweight polyester body with a steel chassis and a rear-mounted turbocharged engine. Thanks to its relatively low weight and turbocharged V6, the Alpine is known for its fast performance and distinctive driving experience.
The design is quintessentially Alpine: low, elongated, and highly streamlined, with remarkably low drag for its time. The engine is mounted in the rear and drives the rear wheels, resulting in a balanced and engaging driving experience that clearly distinguishes it from many other GT cars of the same era.
The interior is also in exceptionally fine and original condition. The fabric upholstery of the seats looks crisp and well-formed, with minimal signs of wear. The rear seat, door panels, and center console are also neat and undamaged, which aligns well with the car’s low mileage.
Due to the relatively limited production numbers and the fact that many cars have been used intensively, original and low-mileage examples are becoming increasingly difficult to find. With its Italian delivery and mileage of just 18,963 km, this is a particularly interesting car for enthusiasts of the brand and collectors of European sports cars from the 1980s.
