"When things don’t happen right away, remember it takes 6 months to build a Rolls-Royce. 13 hours to build a Toyota." – Rolls-Royce --
The Rolls-Royce Phantom, revered among enthusiasts as the first Rolls-Royce developed under the wings of BMW. In 1998, Rolls-Royce, along with Bentley, was sold to the Volkswagen Group. However, the rights to the Rolls-Royce name were held by Rolls-Royce Aerospace, which subsequently sold the name to BMW. By 2003, approximately 15% of its components were shared with the BMW range. A perfect combination, if you ask us; BMW's engineering prowess combined with the exquisite style and class of a British icon. BMW announced a separate dealer network specifically for the launch of the Phantom. They aimed to avoid the same mistake made with Mercedes earlier; the Maybach was perceived as the ultimate Mercedes.
The Phantom 2003 boasts a 6.750 cc powerhouse, paying homage to earlier Rolls-Royce models. This time, it featured a BMW engine with 12 cylinders, delivering 453 majestic horses. In 2005, the first facelift was unveiled. Our Phantom, therefore, doesn't have a tachometer but indicates the percentage of power remaining. Additionally, umbrellas were stowed in the rear doors, and the iconic Spirit of Ecstasy automatically retracted into the grille upon locking the car.
The Phantom is a symbol of luxury and comfort. Driving it yourself is a delight. Its overwhelming torque and ultimate smoothness ensure a fantastic driving experience. And then, a nod to your rational considerations; this Phantom has driven approximately 5,000 kilometers per year and has always been maintained by authorized dealers or specialists. It's in excellent condition and has been declared fully healthy.
Like a beautiful woman; you know she has been driven before, but do you really care? She's ready for many more smiles per liter. Miles per liter, we won't disclose; it's far from important. Right? See you soon!
