This lot will be auctioned via Iconic Auctioneers, The Classic Sale at CarFest 2026 on Saturday the 29th of August and Sunday the 30th of August at The Wing, Silverstone Circuit, NN12 8TN.
Introduced in 1980 as the successor to the Silver Shadow, the Silver Spirit marked a new generation for Rolls-Royce and remains an accessible entry point into the marque’s modern classics.
Powered by the Silver Shadow’s 6.75-litre L410 V8 engine, paired with the GM-sourced THM three-speed automatic gearbox, it delivers smooth and unhurried performance in the manner expected.
This is an original UK-supplied example, first registered on 18/09/1984. It is finished in Balmoral Green with Champagne leather piped in green, complemented by Forest Green carpets and an Everflex roof.
Part of the vendor's private collection since 2016, it has had just three former registered keepers. The odometer shows 7,882 miles at the time of cataloguing.
The car is accompanied by a copy of its original Bill of Sale from Rolls-Royce Motors Ltd to the Dutton Forshaw Motor Company (£50,530), along with a Rolls-Royce Enthusiasts' Club factory chassis file.
Invoices from a Rolls-Royce and Bentley specialist amounting to £2,219 in 2021 cover servicing, including the replacement of the air conditioning compressor and associated high and low-pressure components.
Most recently, in March 2023, the same specialist carried out a service that included replacing both hydraulic accumulators, renewing the odometer gear, and performing a small service (£935).
We encourage your inspection of this rather smart Silver Spirit at our CarFest Sale.
